OdoBan® is a multi-purpose commercial cleaner, disinfectant, sanitizer, air freshener and odor eliminator. OdoBan® is a concentrated disinfectant that kills germs, bacteria and viruses when used according to disinfection/sanitization directions on hard, nonporous surfaces. Removes odors, like animal odors, urine odors, smoke odors, musty odors or garbage odors. Instantly freshens and deodorizes fabrics, like clothing, towels, shoes, upholstery, bedding, carpets and rugs. Use for laundry; add to the rinse cycle to control odors, soften fabrics and remove static cling. Freshens and deodorizes A/C filters, when used as directed. Deodorizes RV holding tanks. One gallon of OdoBan® makes up to 32 gallons of cleaning solution; just mix with plain tap water. For use on walls, tables, floors, carpets, toilets, grout, sinks, drains, bathtubs, countertops, appliances, furniture, laundry, bedding and more. When used as directed, OdoBan® is safe for use on washable surfaces, including sealed natural stone, stainless steel, ceramic, tile, rubber, vinyl and plastic. AIR FRESHENER: 22 oz. per gallon of water (1 part OdoBan® to 5 parts water) (1:5) or desired concentration will effectively neutralize damp musty odors caused by mildew in storage areas, basements, closets, bathrooms and A/C filters. Effective on smoking and cooking odors (garlic, fish, onions, etc.). Automobile odors from tobacco, musty carpet smell and beverage smells will be eliminated.
LAUNDRY: Add 8 oz. per load during the final rinse cycle to eliminate offensive odors, soften and eliminate static cling without damaging fibers. Smoke Damage: Mix (1:3) and soak clothes overnight; rinse and repeat. Launder as usual. To Control Odor on Musty Bedding and Linens: Add 32 oz. of OdoBan® to the final rinse water of a full size washer for each load of laundry.
PET ODORS: 32 oz. per gallon of water (1:3) for urine, feces and vomit on carpet and upholstery. Clean prior to application, then spray onto affected areas. Test hidden area for colorfastness. Allow 10 minutes contact time. Then blot with clean cloth. Allow to dry. Also effective on pet bedding and litter boxes.
SEWAGE BACKUP, WATER DAMAGE, FIRE RESTORATION: 16 oz. per gallon of water (1:7) or desired concentration to spray over affected areas before and after cleaning and extraction. Allow 10 minutes contact time. Use proper ventilation, open windows.
CARPETS: 8 oz. per gallon of water (1:15) eliminates odors associated with urine, vomit, smoke and mildew. Reapply after cleaning for freshening effects. Allow to dry.
CLEANING SOLUTION: 4 oz. per gallon of water (1:31) for cleaning kitchen counters, tables, walls, bathrooms, toilet seats, mopping floors and large routine applications.
RV HOLDING TANKS: Toilet waste: Cover bottom of holding tank with water and add 6 oz. If odors return before time to empty, add 1-2 oz. to the tank. Kitchen waste: 2 oz. to gray water tank as needed to control malodors created by dirty dishwater.
DEODORIZING SOFT SURFACES: To control odor-causing bacteria on soft nonfood contact surfaces: Dilute 16 oz. per gallon of water (1:7). Spray a light even coating on fabric until wet. DO NOT SATURATE. Let air dry. For difficult odors or heavy fabrics, repeat application. Reapply as necessary.
CLEANING/DEODORIZING WET SUITS: To neutralize odors from wet suits, soak for 10 minutes in a 1 oz. per 1 gallon of water solution or desired concentration. Rinse and repeat if needed.
CLEANING/DEODORIZING GARBAGE CANS, GARBAGE TRUCKS, INDUSTRIAL WASTE RECEPTACLES AND GARBAGE HANDLING EQUIPMENT: It is especially important to preclean for the product to perform properly. Then, apply a wetting concentration of 16-32 oz. of OdoBan® per gallon of water.
DEEP CLEANING/DEODORIZING FOR RESTROOMS WITH FLOOR DRAINS: Mix 5-7 oz. per gallon of water in a bucket and saturate all surfaces. Scrub with a stiff floor brush to loosen all soils. Allow to soak for 10 minutes. Then squeegee into floor drain. For best results, clean once or twice a day to neutralize restroom urine odors and eliminate foul back draft odors from floor drains. Floors are slippery when wet. Allow to dry before reentering cleaned area.
DISINFECTION DIRECTIONS
OdoBan® is a Hospital Disinfectant for precleaned surfaces at 5 oz. per gallon of water, Bactericidal according to the AOAC Use Dilution Test Method, a Mildewstat according to the EPA Mildew-Fungistatic guidelines in 10 minutes and Virucidal* according to the virucidal qualification in 60 seconds, against the following germs‡:
Bacteria: Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Vancomycin Resistant Enterococcus faecalis (VREF), Escherichia coli (E. coli) 0157:H7, Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella enterica, Serratia marcescens.
Fungi: Aspergillus niger.
DISINFECTION DIRECTIONS: Remove visible soil, then thoroughly preclean surfaces with a cloth, sponge, brush or mop. Apply use-solution (5 oz. per gallon of water) to hard, nonporous surfaces as required. Treated surfaces must remain undisturbed and visibly wet for 10 minutes.
FUNGICIDAL DIRECTIONS: At 7 oz. per gallon of water, this product is an effective fungicide against Trichophyton interdigitale (athlete’s foot fungus). Follow disinfection directions.
MOLD & MILDEW CONTROL: To control mold and mildew on hard, nonporous, nonfood contact surfaces, wash visible soil from the surface. Then apply use solution, 5 oz. per gallon of water, with mop, sponge, cloth or trigger spray so as to wet all surfaces thoroughly. Let air dry. Repeat application every 7 days to control reoccurrence of growth.
VIRUCIDAL* DIRECTIONS
OdoBan® at 5 oz. per gallon of water is Virucidal* according to the virucidal qualification in 60 seconds, against the following germs‡: *Herpes Simplex Type 2, HIV-1, Human Coronavirus, Influenza A H3N2.
VIRUCIDAL* DIRECTIONS: Follow disinfection directions. Treated surfaces must remain undisturbed and visibly wet for 60 seconds. KILLS HIV ON PRECLEANED ENVIRONMENTAL SURFACES/OBJECTS PREVIOUSLY SOILED WITH BLOOD/BODY FLUIDS, in health care settings or other settings in which there is an expected likelihood of soiling of inanimate surfaces/objects with blood or body fluids and in which the surfaces/objects likely to be soiled with blood or body fluids can be associated with the potential for transmission of human immunodeficiency virus Type 1 (HIV-1) (associated with AIDS).
“SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR CLEANING AND DECONTAMINATION AGAINST HIV-1 ON SURFACES/OBJECTS SOILED WITH BLOOD/BODY FLUIDS”
Personal Protection: Clean-up should always be done wearing protective latex gloves, gowns, masks and eye protection. Cleaning Procedure: Blood and other body fluids containing HIV must be thoroughly cleaned from surfaces and objects before application of this product.
Contact Time: Leave surface wet for 60 seconds. Use a 10 minute contact time for disinfection against bacteria (5 oz. per gallon of water) and fungi (7 oz. per gallon of water).
Disposal of Infectious Materials: Blood, body fluids, cleaning materials and clothing should be autoclaved and disposed of according to local regulations for infectious waste disposal.
SANITIZER DIRECTIONS
OdoBan® is a sanitizer for precleaned, hard, nonporous, nonfood contact surfaces according to the method for Inanimate Non-Food Contact Surface Sanitizer in 60 seconds at 5 oz. per gallon of water against the following germs†: Streptococcus pyogenes (Strep), Escherichia coli (E. coli) 0157:H7, Listeria monocytogenes, Staphylococcus aureus (Staph), Klebsiella pneumoniae.
SANITIZING DIRECTIONS: Remove visible soil, then thoroughly clean surfaces. To sanitize, apply use-solution (5 oz. per gallon of water) to hard, nonporous, nonfood contact surfaces as required. Let stand 60 seconds then wipe.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
Store in areas inaccessible to small children. Do not reuse or refill this container. Offer for recycling, if available.
OdoBan® use-solutions are non-corrosive and non-staining to plastic, vinyl, synthetics, enamel, tile and most common metals. OdoBan® can be used on non-porous surfaces such as walls, tables, floors, chairs, countertops, bathroom fixtures, sinks, bed frames, shelves, racks and carts. OdoBan® may be used in hospitals, medical and dental offices, nursing homes, day care centers, nurseries, restaurants and bars, cafeterias, institutional facilities, public restrooms, institutions, schools, athletic facilities, camp grounds, play grounds, public facilities, transportation terminals, hotels and motels, factories, business and office buildings, buses, ambulances, trains and taxis.

Hazards to Humans and Domestic Animals. DANGER – Causes irreversible eye damage. Do not get in eyes or on clothing. Wear protective eyewear (goggles, face shield or safety glasses). Avoid contact with skin. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Remove contaminated clothing and wash clothing before reuse.
FIRST AID
If in Eyes: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses if present after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye.
If on Skin or Clothing: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes.
If Swallowed: Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
NOTE TO PHYSICIAN: Probable mucosal damage may contraindicate the use of gastric lavage.
